MANAGER
DUBUQUE, IA
Ewing Properties is seeking a part-time Community Manager to join their dynamic team in Dubuque, IA. We are a team of passionate individuals who value integrity and strive to continuously evolve while keeping a lighthearted work environment. As a Community Manager, you will be focused on managing, supporting, and enriching the senior cooperative lifestyle in a cooperation with the member owners.

SOME OF THE ESSENTIAL ASPECTS
Deliver a smooth transition for members from the Sales Department to the Operations Department. Support positive member relations during the construction process including selections of finishes for their home, construction updates and building community with their neighbors. • Responsible for central administration, maintenance and operations of the cooperative community and property. Establish and maintain strong relationships with member owners to enhance the quality of their cooperative lifestyle. Perform accounting responsibilities such as payables, receivables, monthly reports, annual budget preparations, budget monitoring and adherence. Oversight of property staff and/or vendors to ensure compliance and monitor performance. • Provide tours, establish relationships with any prospective member owner. Participate in all marketing meetings, open houses, and any other marketing events. Facilitate transfers/re-sales of cooperative shares, including marketing, tours, documentation preparation, financial tasks and closing. Work in union with standing committees, Board of Directors and Ewing Properties to help facilitate a robust and responsibly run cooperative community. Assist and collaborate with Operations Director on management direction.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Property management experience preferred; Real Estates license is a plus. Self-starter with ability to work autonomously. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively plan and execute all tasks. Demonstrates business acumen and professionalism.
